Vezelay: Church and Hill

Vezelay is a medieval town that was a holy pilgrimage town for Christens. It was built in 10^th century. Vezelay is located in the central of France. There were, I think cement shells, which were called St. James shells. The shells had become a symbol of pilgrimage. I wonder how many people still do the pilgrimage.
